Tentang Puasa

More or less.

2015, a Year in Perspective

10421993_10205182388233646_8922357159702389657_n

Okay, so, it’s a new year. A new calendar year, to be precise, bye 2015, hello 2016. A year full of opportunities, challenge and every other things ready to be tackled. 2015 felt very quick to pass by, but there are a whole lot more memories happened and recorded than the usual year. It felt like a dream, a real dream. But it was an awesome year overall, I learned a lot of stuff, changing perspective, got a master degree to name a few.

I spent most of the year living in Bristol, UK, for my post graduate study. It’s started on late 2014, and going through to the late 2015. Actually I have draft saved for this story (Life in Bristol review) but I have not yet published it. Partially it’s not yet finished, partially I’m not yet fully comfortable writing (part of) my own personal life and share it in public domain. But maybe later.

The year is so awesome and the stories are so cool that actually I can delve into more details by actually write separate blog post for each stories I experienced (like my road trip stories here, ugh I remember I haven’t finished the last part of it!). So I won’t write all in details the year in review in this post. I want to write it separately (I hope!).

Path of Life

image

Treading down a path of life, living out a chains of events that eventually lead to this point of present moment. One decision lead to another one, one pain to other wound, one disappointment to other rejection, one failure to other lesson, one sadness to other grief, one heartbreak to other dream, one glory to other victory, one success to another challenge.

I keep believing in whatever happened in the past is the way that lead me to present, what made me to this moment. What arounds me now is the path that will lead me how will the future shaped. I thank God that I surrounded by those who have good values, those who pushes me to keep improving, reminding me to always being grateful and in the same time, pushing to never stop and satisfied to reach the heights, and that kind of people are worth every reasons to keep each others around.

It’s nearly a whole complete trip of earth revolving around the sun of my journey here with a lot of whole new experiences and life lessons. It’s easy to take a view back in past and just say “why that and this happened?” but actually it is a whole lot easier to say “Alhamdulillah that and this happened”, not just for good memories, but to bad memories. Seeing new things and experiencing a lot of new stuff. Encountering adversity, creating happiness, thinking ideas, fall in love and dealing with a person who left a mark and scar, finding way to keep my head straight, dealing with tons of stressful challenges, dealing with expectations. A lot of things helped me changed my view to life. Hopefully it’s a good change, a better one.

When the hard times coming, the one who gonna back you up is your very own reasons, the value and the faith of everything you hold dear.
Learn and grow. Everyday.
